ECAP and ACE are calling the following activity in Edinburgh on Friday 21st July as part of the Disabled People Against the Cuts Britain-wide week of action.

1pm Gather at Argyle House, Lady Lawson St, site of the Assessment centre run by ATOS for Personal Independence Payment and by Maximus for the Work Capability Assesments for ESA. Both assessments treat disabled, sick & long term ill people very unfairly.

These assessments must be scrapped. We aim to build up a presence at assessment centres so people are not left isolated, All going for an assessment should take an accompanier / advocate http://www.edinburghagainstpoverty.org.uk/?page_id=40

2.30pm owards High Riggs jobcentre (less than 5 mins walk away)
