International Women’s Day, Edinburgh (IWDE) is a group of women organising a feminist demonstration for 8th March in the Scottish capital.

This group of migrant and Scottish women have open meetings on the 8th of every month here at ACE. Newcomers are more than welcome along with our regular members.

The organisation adheres to the International Women’s Strike Movement. The group, with input from individuals and organisations working on different women’s issues in and around Edinburgh, has also produced a Femifesto calling on all cis women, trans women, non-binary people and everyone who identifies as a woman, of any ethnicity or any sexual orientation, to oppose the patriarchal system and demand the end of inequality.
