Join Sisters, not the Gym!

Join Sisters Uncut Edinburgh for our first meeting of the new year. If your resolution this January is to get involved in political action, come along and find out what we’re about. At this meeting, we will give you a overview of Sisters Uncut’s aims, our future campaigns, and how you can get involved. All skills and experience levels very welcome – help us fight the violence of austerity.

———————————–

Sisters Uncut is an intersectional, feminist group taking direct action to defend domestic and sexual violence services. We’re organising information evenings, actions and reaching out to local communities.

*Gender Inclusion*
Our meetings are open to all women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary, agender and gender variant people. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual. Our meetings and spaces are not open to people who identify solely or primarily as men. If you have any queries regarding our gender inclusion policy, please don’t hesitate to ask questions.

*Access*
The meeting space is fully wheelchair accessible. We can support individuals with access-related costs, such as travel costs. Children are more than welcome at our meetings and we can either provide informal childcare on site (we have toys and space to play!), or help with childcare costs. This can all be arranged on the night, but if you can let us know in advance, that will help us to make sure we have everything in place.

If you need any other support or have any questions please get in touch at sistersuncutedinburgh@gmail.com
