1980s Paris saw a rash a neo-nazi skin head gangs spring up across the city, making the streets a dangerous place for anyone not white. To counter this a militant movement of anti-fascist gangs grew to force them from the streets. This documentary from 2008 with old footage and interviews with the people involved looks at how this youth movement organised and operated to become an extremely effective fighting force. The film is in French with English Subtitles.

We plan to start the screening at 7.30 and will have time for discussion of the film afterwards.

If you can’t make the screening, the film is available on youtube here (although we think it’s more fun watching as a group): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfDbTgb6uyc
